Created by: Rod Serling

Genre: Science Fiction, Drama, Thriller

Based on the original series (1959-1964)

Original release date: April 1, 2019

9/10 – I didn’t know what to expect, but it’s sooo damn good!

I want to start off by saying I think it’s fantastic that they kept the intro modern but yet still classy like the original. The original Twilight Zone series is a black and white classic that will never be forgotten. Any fan knows they were great! It’s the way the show starts with the intro, the show makes you think and the plots are just perfect. I have watched quite a few of the original series episodes and when I see the black and white style I still enjoy them to this day.

Here it is 2019 and the new reboot of the Twilight Zone still has it going on!

Actors are on point = Check

It’s entertaining = Check

Tickles your brain (just the right amount) = Check

And this is why I love it!

It’s been 60 years since the original series began and here we are in the Twilight Zone, all over again. Every episode I’ve watched so far is unique, it’s up to date with our freaky modern universe and it’s really awesome. So, what is the Twilight Zone all about?  Every episode is a new story with different characters and fresh actors in the new era. Many of the episodes draw inspiration from storylines in the original series.

Just like the intro says:

“This is the dimension of imagination.

It is an area which we call . . . the Twilight Zone.”

I escaped into the 2019 reboot of the Twilight Zone and I can’t wait for more! Check it out and make sure you put your phone away so you can pay attention to what’s going on!
