For the Ones That Just Can’t Take it Anymore

You’re probably wondering… what is this thing? Yup, I thought the same thing when I first saw it. I was searching for ways to relax and relieve stress or whatever. That’s when this thing popped up.

It’s a fidget cube hand toy and it’s designed to help ease some of your problems away. Are you wondering if this thing works? Indeed it does. How do you know if this thing is for you? If you answer yes to some or all of these, then this gadget could be the answer for you.

This gadget is perfect because it has 12 types of surfaces to play with. Each side will help you with your mood and hopefully make you feel better –

  1. Ridged Gears – this side has three gears that can be rolled back and forth
  2. Spinning Disk –  can be clicked or rotated
  3. Game controller experience- four buttons that mimics a gaming controller
  4. Gel Ball – a soft silicone ball. Push it, pinch it, press it, swing it
  5. Switch – on and off switch to hear the switch rhythm without wasting electricity
  6. Joystick – Gaming joystick with a 360 degree rotation
  7. Clicker button – sounds just like you’re pressing a ball point pen. Click click click.

  10. Sliders – three sliders to slide back and forth

When you’re in this position you need to change your mindset, you need to focus on other things. This gadget helps you focus your problem on something else. All it takes is just two minutes of playing – that’s it. That’s all it takes and your mood or distraction starts to improve. If you’re trying to quit the cigs this could be a good tool to whip out when you get that nasty craving. It’s almost like gum, but with no sugar 😉 If you are a fingernail biter this could also be good for you. No biting, just thumb beating.

This colorful gadget is safe from silicone, and it’s also eco-friendly.

My review: AWESOME FIDGET TOY!! I’m very grateful for this gadget. Who isn’t stressed or anxious especially in these Covid days? Stinky ol’ stress can pile up if you let it. You’ve got to do something to get it out. I use the computer a lot these days and it’s stressful and tiring. When I start to feel a little sleepy, I wet my face and grab my headphones and this gadget for a quick session to click away to the beat. It’s pretty good stuff. I’m telling you, it really does release stored-up energy. When I’m not using it, I think it looks pretty cute from afar, so it makes a great decor. It’s a high quality product and it passes the drop test for me, three separate times, with no chips or cracks. That’s excellent because that means this product is durable and can handle a few drops here and there. Don’t be too rough with it, though, play with it with tender thoughts in mind or expect it to break. If you need to be in a room where you have to be quiet, just give those emoji heads a few pinches so you can remain silent. I like to carry this toy around with me, and since it doesn’t fit in my pocket I put it in a cute little drawstring bag to prevent it from damage.

All in all, it’s a pleasing experience for once. Isn’t it great when a gadget does what it’s supposed to do?! Everything on this one is perfect. It feels good when pressed or pinched 🙂

I laugh life off with the help of this thing 🙂

With this cube by your side – everything is going to be okay!

Picture This! Exploring the World of Photography

With the popularity of cell phone cameras, it seems that almost everyone thinks they’re a photographer these days. However, what if you’re really serious about your craft? Not only can photography be a fun hobby, it can also be a thrilling and satisfying career. There are numerous genres in the photography world, so there’s got to be at least one style that will float your creative boat.

• Food Photography: Due to the growing number of food blogs and websites like Pinterest, food photography has become one of the most popular genres of photography out there. Inspired by social media, many people take pictures of their meals and share them with the world, gaining lots of followers along the way. Restaurants and other food-service businesses may have use for your skills in order to promote their establishments. So if you’re a foodie and you want to share your love, food photography may be what you’re looking for.

• Nature Photography: Have you ever picked up a copy of National Geographic magazine and admired the beautiful photographs of colorful tropical islands, exotic faraway lands, and other wonders of the natural world? Have you ever wished you could be the one taking these shots? If a flight to a distant place is out of the question, visit a local park or explore the nature in your backyard. You will take some lovely pictures and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you.

• Wildlife Photography: Maybe you would like to take your nature photography to the next level by capturing snapshots of animals doing their natural thang and going about their daily business. As a wildlife photographer, you must plan carefully and make sure you are comfortable and familiar with your camera equipment in case you have to change a lens or an angle. Respect the wildlife and remember these are wild animals, no matter how adorable they are.

• Travel Photography: If you like to travel, travel photography could be the perfect way to combine business with pleasure. Whether you’re vacationing locally or flying to another continent, people love to read stories and see beautiful photographs of your trips.

• Wedding Photography: There’s nothing better than capturing images of happy couples on their wedding day? The delight of being a wedding photographer is witnessing and documenting the cheer and celebration between two people and their family and friends on their special day. Another advantage of this genre is occasionally traveling to different locations for destination weddings.

• Aerial Photography: Although it was previously accessible only to aircraft, aerial photography has gained in popularity over the last few years because of the availability of drones. A few hundred dollars can buy you a decent drone of your own, complete with a high-definition camera that can take pictures from great heights. There are many professions that now use drones, such as social media content creators, city planners, and wedding photographers.

• Sports Photography: Does the sound of a bat hitting a ball or the sight of a perfect play pump you up? Armed with a high-speed long-lens camera, sports photographers capture the adrenaline rush of big league live sporting events for fans who couldn’t be there. These high-quality images will live on forever. You could also gain experience by photographing sports teams in your local area.

• Advertising Photography: This genre allows you to stretch your creative muscles and help create promotional campaigns for large corporations and small businesses. They all need someone to snap cool pictures of their stuff so people will want to buy it. That person could be you!

These are just a few ideas to get you started thinking about the world of photography 🙂 Never forget to enjoy what you are doing and that feeling will come across in your pictures.

Snap a nice day!

The Smartphone “Radiator” — Yes, We Could Be Exposed To Radiation

We use our smartphones everyday, being useful to many of us in so many ways

But there are stories that could lead to concern

There is one thing about them that’s not out there enough

The fear of radiation being harmful to humans someday

You may have heard it before and it’s easy to ignore

Articles saying different things,

Yes, it appears to be confusing because you feel nothing, nothing is supposed to be there

It’s a silent wave, it’s not meant to be seen or heard

You are left to believe what you want to believe

Is it true? Who really knows, but if you put two and two together

The story goes

RF waves come from the phone’s antenna

Are you always talking on your phone?

You be careful, the closer the antenna is to your head, leaves you more exposed

How often do you pick your phone up? Do you sleep with it?

Wait, let’s be honest here…do you even take a break from it?

When was the last time it left your side?

If this is you, limit your talk time or talk on speakerphone and get that thing as far away as possible

If it’s true, even the slightest amount of possible

Why can’t electronic devices come with a readable document with a reasonable font to say

*Small amounts of radiation alert*

Maybe some know, some of us may not

But if it’s included in the box

We may be more wise and limit our use and what could be not

If you are concerned consider checking out the radiation amount before purchasing your device

Putting it away for a few is better than what it could be doing to you, especially for long periods of time

I’m not telling you this to bug you, it’s only because I care

Smartphone radiation has been silenced for way too long but the problem is

When it comes to business, money talks

When money talks, bullshit walks, but will they ever take the time to show they care

We’re not trained how to use them properly until it’s too late

It’s better to be cautious with a little concern rather than being left to our fate

Dollarama Tech Find: Mouse Pad

Tech 1 Mouse Pad with Wrist Rest

Non-slip backing

Price – $1.50

My Rating: 5/5

If you are looking to purchase a basic mouse pad, you might want to consider looking at a dollar store near you. I was looking for a mouse pad and to my surprise Dollarama had one. Turns out, it might just do the trick for you as it has me, and at a fantastic price. This basic mousepad was only $1.50, and it works just as good as my mouse pad that I bought from Amazon for $15.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and it really is a good pad considering the price. It is comfortable for a good period of time, and it’s more relaxing for my wrist as I can rest it on the wrist support. This mouse pad doesn’t slip when in use and it glides across accurately. The fabric stays intact — I have been using it for a week with a decent amount of use, and my  fingernails haven’t left any scratches. It’s only been a week, but it’s a little surprising that it hasn’t shown any signs of wear, yet. I love it, I love it even more because I spent next to nothing instead of blowing my money on an expensive mouse pad that does the exact same thing!

For $1.50 it’s worth a try to see if you like it… why wouldn’t you?

Don’t Be A Victim: What You Can Do to Prevent Identity Theft and Credit Fraud

The rise of technology has benefited society in countless ways, but it has also made it easier than ever for bad actors to commit identity theft and credit fraud. A serious threat, identity theft involves a would-be imposter intercepting your personal information – such as your name, credit cards, bank accounts, driver’s licence, and even your Social Insurance Number among others – with the intention of using your identity to commit fraud.

Protecting Your Personal Information

Although identity theft is all too common these days, there are ways you can prevent it, or at least reduce the risk of becoming a target to these criminals. Sometimes, the perpetrator may even be someone you think you can trust, possibly a relative or friend, so you should never share your personal information with anyone. There are other steps you can take to protect yourself from the dangers of identity theft, including the following:

1. Avoid carrying around your personal information with you everywhere. Do you really need your passport, birth certificate, Social Insurance card, or extra credit cards to go to the store or your friend’s house?
2. Whenever you use your debit or credit cards, always take the receipts with you and shred them before disposing of them.
3. Never leave your purse or wallet unattended in plain view, even inside a locked vehicle.
4. Don’t create passwords and personal identification numbers that are too easy to guess, and try to memorize them if possible.
5. If you find an offer that seems too good to be true, it probably is – scammers will often ask you to enter your precious PI to enter a fake contest or qualify for a phony refund.

Keep An Eye On Your Credit

The best way to fight identity theft in real-time is through a credit monitoring service. This will allow you to monitor your credit report anytime you want and can alert you if suspicious activity has taken place. With a helping hand, and a proactive approach, you can be prepared for identity theft and credit fraud. Be aware, and try not to let it happen to you.

Have a nice day!
